It is located on a picturesque dairy farm, complete with house, barns and sundry outbuildings. The 3.5 story fieldstone mill's dimensions are close to 35'x45'. The stone arch at the lower right indicates that it was at one time water-powered by Mill Brook, a small brooklet, as the archway was either the inlet or outlet. In 1845, some water was diverted from the Morris Canal which was breached through a millrace. The mill operated by using a tub wheel better suited for low flows of water. French burr stones contributed to the grinding process.

Directions: About 5 miles east of Phillipsburg on NJ 57 almost to the junction with Millsbrook and Asbury Rds.

"Then He will give rain for your seed with which you sow the ground, and bread of the increase of the earth; it will be fat and plentiful. In that day your cattle will feed in large pastures."
Isaiah 30:23 NKJV
