In April 1993, the mill was a 4 story wooden, former feed mill that needed a lot of tender loving care. The north portion may still be used for a business of sorts; but the sothern section, 3.5 stories with a clerestory that runs its length, seems to have all the window openings in the clerestory just big open holes. The southern section has very few windows except for the afore-mentioned clerestory. The mill appears to have a goode sandstone foundation. Don't know what the future holds for this behemoth of a relic.

I-70 south 16 miles on SR 13 to U.S.50 at Warrensburg, Mo. Cross U.S. 50 on SR 13 and turn right onto either Washington or Pine St.(whichever intersects with SR 13) and procede to the other of the two streets. The mill is at corner of Washington and Pine Sts. |
