Strimbles Mill is frame grist mill, of 30'x40' footprint and 2.5 stories in height of unpainted boarding. The attached saw mill is about 15'x60' and 1 story high right next to the bridge. At the time of visit in Oct. 1987, two oak logs 30 inches in diameter and 20 feet long were laying out in front of the grist mill. Also a stack of newly cut lumber was by the saw mill and the bridge. The miller's house is across the road.

Directions: From Stockton Boro., travel north on NJ 29 for 2.5 miles turning right onto Federal Twist Rd. for 1.3 miles. Turn right again onto Strimples Mill Rd. and go about 1 mile to mill on left across the steel bridge.
