An impressive 3 story stone/stuccoed mill with a 4th story of frame contructed in the Second Empire (Mansard) Style. The 45'x45' building was built probably around 1830-40 and was known as "Crosskill Mill" after the creek that supplied the power.

The first mill on the site was known to have been there in 1700. It appeared devoid of activity at the time of the visit in November 1987. Not sure what is used for now or if it is still standing, since it has not been revisited. **Photo by Gloria Buckle**
