A newer mill, being built in 1912 but still sticking to the architectural style of the older stone mills of eastern United States.

The 35'x 60' red sandstone structure is not operating but has been converted to an apartment structure with a 2 story covered porch along its full length. The 2.5 story building looks to be saved for the present through alternative use.

*Update: Detter's Mill AKA - Emig's Mill. Several mills in the York area were once named Emig's Mill. The first mill on this site is believed to have been built c. 1830 by George Sheffer, that being a 3.5 story, stone mill. Robert T. Kinsey 02/21/06*
