The mill is a frame structure, 25'X 35', with a 1.5 sloping addition to the rear of frame also. the roof is of hip style of metal corrigated sheeting. The mill is about 1200 meters west of Barren Fork Cr. but it is unkown if it was utilized for power.

Across the Sh 19 and facing on Sh ZZ is a 35'X 45' brick store that serviced the Drake community in the late 1800's. The store and the mill are both well preserved and maintained by the state or county.
