The mill is a 2 story frame structure of 25'X 35' dimensions with several small additions. Built of wood and left to weather, the wood has taken on an almost black color, making picture exposure difficult.
Various pieces of roller mill equipment remain. In 1998, the mill was scheduled for restoration by the owning agency, the Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places 6/27/85. Best photo is in the AM. These were taken in late afternoon, May 2002. More history of the mill later.
