The mill is about a 25'X 35' frame sructure covered with metal siding. Several additions are contructed also of wood and painted with barn red paint, as is the window trim. All in all, not a bad little mill aestetically speaking. Nutrena feeds are featured and the mill was being used as a feed mill in April 1998 using electrical power. The town of Marthasville bears some looking into as it is an nice little historic village.

Take Mo 47 from Washington, Mo. across the Missouri River and continue for 5 miles to Marthasville. Grab Mo 94 west for another 9 miles to Trelar, Mo. Take Mo N northeast for 1.3 miles to Holstein, make a right onto Mill Rd., go 0.3 miles. Mill is on the right a couple hundred yards off Mill Rd. down a lane. |
