Foundations of old 1888 flour mill once water powered by Cedar Creek. A turbine powered the rollers to produce 200 bbl. flour/day at full capacity. A 1920 hydroturbine house and portions of the dam remain although these were not seen.

The old mill foundation was roofed over and structure was used as a livestock shed. Current ownership includes a sort of used car sales titled; Old Mill Sales & Repairs; cars, parts, buy, sell, and trade.

Directions: In Oakdale,Ne on US 275, take Hohman St. south about 6 blocks to 4th St., turn right and go about 4 blocks west across Cedar Creek to the one story mill remnent/cow shed/used car sales office opposite junc. with Mill St.
