Fire destroyed the original cribbed wooden elevator in the mid-1930's. This larger, more modern,
Fire destroyed the original cribbed wooden elevator in the mid-1930's. This larger, more modern, "fireproof conrete" structure was available for use by 1938.


The new mill & elevator was used for 20 years until 1958, when it ceased milling operations and the machinery was dismantled. The mill was idle into the mid-1990's but in good condition. By 2004, the mill was occupied by a feed milling operation called Evergreen Feeds.

Directions: Check directions for El Reno Mill(Ok-09-03). This mill ajoins property of El Reno Mill & Elevator, but is just a block or so north at 920 S. Bickford and Oak St.
