The original portion of the large milling complex that flourished from 1940 into the 1990's.
Built as a flour mill in late 1939, the mill started operation on January i, 1940. Converted to feed milling operation sometime in the 1960's. The main mill building has 3 stories, with other sections and appendages varying from 1 to 3 stories in height.
A bolter located on the second floor of the main mill structure. Many other pieces of machinery and wooden grain shutes and bins co-exist with the antiques and collectables of another era.

Today, Sept. 2004, the mill is during another type of business as George & Joann's Antique Mall at Kansas Expressway (Sh 13) and W. College St.n Springfield, Mo.
