The brick 30'X 60', 2 story mill is now the Winterset Flea Market and Old Country Store. The mill may have been an earlier creamery, just from the style of the building.
The owner of the building is going to have to take down the silo, since it is no longer used and is a so called "attractive nusance". The cost will be almost prohibitive. Are there any nearby presevation groups who could come up with a solution that might enable the silo to stay? Perhaps some reinforcement to make the silo structurally safe.
