 The water powered mill was built in 1816 by Indians for the use of the San Gabriel Mission.

 These stones were found near the Huntington Library.  Gen.  George S. Patton remembered when they were used there at the old mill to mount up on horses, when he was a child.

Directions: Take N. Arroyo Pky (Sh 110) south from I-210 in Pasadena, Ca. for 2 miles, exiting east on E. Glenarm St. Go east to S. Marengo Ave. By turning right and going 0.8 miles to Los Robles Ave. Jog right for 500 feet on Los Robles Ave., turn left on Old Mill Rd., turn at next street, S.E. Molino Ave, then right at next street as Old Mill Rd. continues. Go about 3,000 feet further to the mill at 1120 Old Mill Road, going thru S. Oak Knoll Ave.
