Pictures by: Jim Miller 10/16/1992 - The grist mill, on the right, was built from 1830-1835. It became an art gallery in 1960 and the grain elevators were removed but much of the internal mill machinery remains intact. The mills were powered by a turbine drawing water from Hakihokake Creek.
