The linseed mill, on the left, was built between 1795 and 1810. It was converted to a cider mill in the 1850's and in the early 1980's, became a residence. Owned by SPOOM member Stanley H. The grist mill, on the right, was built from 1830-1835. It became an art gallery in 1960 and the grain elevators were removed but much of the internal mill machinery remains intact. The mills were powered by a turbine drawing water from Hakihokake Creek.

From I-78 take exit 11, Ch 614 for 5 miles to junction of Ch 614/Little York-Pattenburg Rd., Sweet Hollow Rd., and Ellis Rd. The mills are on the northwest corner. |
