 The 35'X 55' fieldstone/frame grist/feed mill may be the old Lowrey grist mill from the late 1700's/early 1800's.  The lower story is fieldstone while the remainder is of frame material construction.  A 2 story stone and frame addition on the right side of the mill is about 18'X 55'.

 The mill closed it doors as an operational livestock feed mill in the 1970's and was converted into apartments.  A good method of utilizing a historical resource to economical and preservational benefits.
