The mill, a 3.5 story plus 40'X 60'sandstone mill, is much lower than the highway NJ 57, so could easily be missed by west to east traffic. The Beattyestown was originally known as Beatty's Mill, settled in the 1760's.
The hipped-roof mill has frame on the upper story plus. It was converted to a private residence sometime before 1992. A very attractive mill in great condition.
| Directions:
Located along NJ 57 about 3 miles SE of Hackettstown, N.J. turnoff to Brentwood Terrace in the Village of Beattyestown. |
