40x55 foot mill was built 3.5 stories originally of local fieldstone and was later stuccoed. The mill sits peacefully in a secluded nitch by a steel bridge crossing of the Pennypack Creek. In 1987 the mill was serving as an apartment building. Fetter Mill appears to be of an old world construction style. East across the creek is the historic Bethayres Railroad Station built 1883 on the Newtown Branch of the North Pennsylvania Railroad.
The mill lies just on the edge of the community of Bryn Athyn, Pa.
