Pictures by: Harry Hill   06/05/97 -  This is a replica mill preserved among other exquisitely historical buildings in Carillon Deeds Park. The mill is operated by an overshotwheel from water that is pumped up to the flume to emulate a functioning wheel to grind flour.
Inside the building are many museum displays with labels. The displays include wooden gears, millstones and other equipment used to grind grain. The display is based on the mill equipment found in the Staley Mill of Miami County.

Aso in the park (along with the replica mill) is an old school house and other historical buildings  with one contaning antique trains and also an historical covered bridge that spans the old Miami & Erie Canal.
 
The park is located in Montgomery County, south of Dayton at 2001 S. Patterson Blvd near Carillon Blvd.
