The mill is a 40'X 55' frame structure on a limestone foundation and rising 3.5 stories with an attic.

The business sign advertizes "Stag Paint", which suggests it was a feed mill / hardware store / building and garden supplies store before closing. Looks as if it might be in the process of being renovated slowly into a residence.

The mill sports a gambrel roof, lacks a catshead, but does have the roller mills intact. The flume and water wheel have been removed.

Exit I-81 south of Edinburg, Va. onto Sh 292 east to US 11, head south on US 11 for two miles. The mill is at the southern edge of Mount Jackson along US 11 at Mill Creek. |
