The 40'X 65' 2.5 story frame mill on a deep concrete lower story was built in 1913 by John Murray to replace an earlier mill built by his father, William Murray. John's brother originally had equal ownership with John in the 1883 mill from 1906, but sold a controlling interest to John in 1907.
The original turbine was replaced by a 22' overshot Wheel and later in 1938, Lloyd raised the dam 6' in height, necessitating the wheel be changed out for a 28' waterwheel.
Check the website for more information about the workings of the mill, the 1890's Murray & Minges Store, the 1880 Wheathouse, and the 1913 John Murrey House, all of which are located within the mill complex.

"Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame, and gather those who were driven out; I will appoint them for praise and fame in every where they were put to shame."
